The upgrade involved the design and construction of a dual span, dual lane bridge over the Dawson River. The new bridge replaces the existing timber structure and will deliver a new loading of SM1600 and design life of100 years. The scope includes the construction of a temporary side-track to maintain connectivity during the construction and new approach works and widenings.
