Rivermakers – Stage 4 & 5

Rivermakers is a 30 hectare riverside site in Morningside. It is designed for makers and to meet contemporary industry needs, with manufacturing, office and related retail co-located. BMD Urban have engaged VE Group to construct Stage 4 & 5 of the master plan precinct. The works will be performed adjacent to the already occupied developments of The Depot and HQ, with VE Group delivering works without impact on the historically significant and riverside precinct.

The scope of works included:

• Preparation and Re – placement of Uncontrolled Fill of 70,000 cubic metres
• Cut to Fill within Site of 105,000 cubic metres
• Cut to Stockpile within Site of 32,000 cubic metres
• Excavation of Rippable and Non-Rippable Rock
