Replacement of an existing bridge and approaches, with the new 2-lane bridge better supporting local traffic by improving safety, flood immunity and traffic flow on Burke Developmental Road. The project also included the realignment of Burke Developmental Road to connect the new bridge to the existing road network.
The old bridge will be decommissioned once the new bridge is operational. VE Group AU was engaged by CPM to deliver the roadworks component of the project, with CPM delivering the bridge only.
