VE Group is expanding across Queensland and seeking experienced Site Engineers to support our civil, road, and infrastructure projects.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a VE Group Site Engineer, you will play a key role in project planning, delivery and quality outcomes. You will work closely with Project Managers, Supervisors and Civil & Transport teams to ensure safe, efficient and compliant project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with planning and delivery of civil construction works
- QA documentation, ITPs, NCR management and record keeping
- Surveying, set-out and as-built verification
- Subcontractor coordination and daily site support
- Monitoring production, cost tracking and progress reporting
- Supporting procurement, scheduling and project administration
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Site Engineer
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
- Strong background in civil construction with 3+ years in civil construction
- Experience with subcontractor management, HSE compliance and quality control
- Knowledge of Australian Standards, codes and environmental regulations
- Ability to work autonomously and manage daily priorities
- Problem-solving and risk management on site
- Strong communication, planning and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively on a FIFO roster across Southeast Queensland and Central Queensland regions
