THREE CHAIN ROAD PACKAGE

PROJECT OVERVIEW

VE Group successfully completed the construction of approximately 15 kms of roadway for the Three Chain Road Project, commissioned by Anglo American.

The upgrading of an existing road reserve that connects Gibihi Road and the Dawson Highway near Moura.

The construction of Memorial Road, which included upgrading the existing road leading to the miners’ memorial and adding a new section that provides access to a car park and lookout overlooking the Anglo-American Dawson Mine. Through these efforts, VE Group has delivered a high-quality infrastructure project that has significantly benefited the local community.

SCOPE OF WORKS:

• Upgrading and expanding the existing road reserve.
• Constructing Memorial Road, including a new section leading to a car park and lookout over the Anglo-American Dawson Mine.
• Installing 11 culvert structures.
• Importing and placing over 130,000 tonnes of gravel.
• Applying more than 120,000 square meters of spray seal and asphalt. Ø Installing guardrails.
• Spreading over 190,000 square meters of topsoil and applying hydro-mulch.
